Knightstown has a 24-hour ambulance service. We have three fully staffed dental offices and an optometrist who treats ocular emergencies. We are also served by the Knightstown Healthcare Center.
Knightstown is served by three county hospitals: Henry, Hancock, and Rush.
Henry County Memorial Hospital has been serving the health care needs since 1930. The 107-bed hospital provides local accessibility and quality health care as well as serving as a resource center for health education and info.
Since 1951, Hancock Memorial Hospital has been an excellent health provider for Knightstown and the surrounding areas. The hospital has 70 acute and 21 sub-acute care beds, consisting of mostly private rooms and a team of nurses, ancillary staff and over 175 doctors.
Education: Knightstown public schools are small enough to allow parents to know their children's teachers, yet still offer a wide variety of educational opportunities. [More]
